High whiteness aluminum hydroxide micro powder is eco-friendly halogen free flame retardant additive, which is a white loose powder with high whiteness and low bulk density. It is stable at room temperature and undergoes thermal decomposition and dehydration to produce alumina.
This product is different from other flame retardant materials in that it does not produce toxic or corrosive gases during pyrolysis, and absorbs heat and releases water vapor during pyrolysis, making the product flame retardant and self extinguishing. Therefore, adding this product to composite materials such as plastic and rubber not only enhances the flame retardant and smoke eliminating effect of the product, but also enhances its resistance to electric leakage, arc resistance, and wear resistance.
